What a save signals

A save is a user filing your post to come back to. Instagram treats that as a stronger statement of interest than a like, because the user has said the content is worth returning to rather than simply acknowledging it.

That makes saves one of the more meaningful counts to raise — and one of the less visible, since the number is not shown publicly on the post.

Which posts it suits

Recipes, guides, lists, quotes and anything instructional. These are the formats people genuinely save, so raising the count is consistent with how the post would behave anyway. On a single photo with nothing to return to, saves do not read as natural.

What you need

The post link, on a public account. No password, no login. Keep the post public and unarchived until delivery finishes.
